In order to perform a quick hull optimization, a specific software (MAS) has been developed.

Thanks to the power of this tool few hours were sufficient to drawing hundreds of hulls, to visualize them in 3D, and control their hydrostatics properties.

By simple mouse actions, one can change the hull's shape, change the keel's position, and so on... the software automatically updating the new waterlines.


Manufacturing (CAM)
A data file for CAM is generated by the powerfull MAS mesher based on an analytic model that garanties the needed precision and the smoothing of the hull (C² continuity).

Master shapes are manufactured with a CNC milling machine in a high density foam. The final shapes are polished manually before the molding.

Tooling
The toolings are molded in three parts on the master shape, including the deck.

The hull's components (hull and deck) are manually molded with a composite made of high modulus epoxy system, carbon fabrics and high modulus unidirectional carbon reinforcement (T700). Then the parts are vacuum bagged before being cured.
